  • I begin with a thorough assessment to understand your teen’s emotional health, school experience, family life, and overall well-being. I also connect with parents, guardians, and—when helpful—teachers or school counselors to get a complete picture of their needs.

  • If a diagnosis is appropriate, I explain it in clear, straightforward terms. Together, we create a plan that may include psychiatric evaluation, coping strategies, holistic supports, and, when needed, carefully monitored medication.

  • Sessions often involve activities that resonate with teens—such as guided conversations, mindfulness practices, creative outlets, and real-world problem-solving—to help them manage emotions, boost self-esteem, and develop lifelong coping skills.

  • I work alongside parents or guardians to share insights, resources, and strategies so you can support your teen’s growth at home and in their daily life.

  • As your teen matures and life changes, I adapt the care plan to continue meeting their needs—helping them grow into confident, resilient, and emotionally healthy young adults.
